Antoni Kleczek is a pianist from Northern Virginia currently studying privately with Dr. Martin Labazevitch in Washington D.C. Antoni’s passion for classical music began at the age of 5 when he started taking piano lessons following in the footsteps of his older brother. Antoni is preparing to continue his studies at the university level next year.
Antoni has been described by Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń as a pianist who plays each piece with "deep understanding... natural expression, communicativeness of emotions and all this while playing with apparent ease.”
Antoni has won top prizes at such competitions as the 68th Kosciusko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition, the 29th International Chopin Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia, and the 6th Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition. Antoni is also a recipient of the 2024-2025 Chopin Foundation Scholarship.
