About Us

Classical Washington was founded in 2018 by IT whiz David Thomas and music lover Dr. Robert (Bob) Misbin with the goal of generating interest in live performances of classical music in the greater Washington D.C. area. 

The pandemic of 2020 shut Classical Washington down, but in 2024, Classical Washington was reintroduced by the young piano virtuoso Antoni Kleczek.

Our mission is to provide information about upcoming performances of operas and concerts in the D.C. area. We will also be posting interesting or amusing commentaries about select upcoming performances.

Classical Washington is an educational site and has no financial interactions with its partners or members.
